
Sri Trang Agro-Industry Public Company Limited (“STA” or “the Company”), led by Dr.Saranthinee Mongkolrat, Sustainability Division Manager (right), was honored with a certificate from the Dr. Krithpaka Boonfueng, Executive Director of the National Innovation Agency (Public Organisation) or NIA (left) under SDGs for Climate X Program organized by NIA in collaboration with key partners and supported and incubated by Sustainism, promoting the use of climate restoration innovations. This project aims to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 13: Climate Action. A total of 17 companies participated in the program, with Sri Trang Agro-Industry Public Company Limited recognized as one of the leading organizations demonstrating readiness to integrate innovation and ESG principles into its business operations in a tangible way. For example, the company has installed solar power generation systems with a total capacity of over 42.460 megawatts, adopted biomass as fuel to produce thermal energy to reduce greenhouse gas and carbon dioxide emissions, and implemented biofilter odor control systems to mitigate impacts from the rubber drying process. Participation in this program not only reflects the company’s dedication to sustainable development but also lays a strategic foundation for creating shared value across economic, social, and environmental dimensions, while elevating the supply chain to meet international standards.
